General information

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a full body treatment that combines elements of deep tissue massage, yoga-based stretches and breathwork. It is based on the ancient Indian health science Ayurveda.
The massage opens the body, so that you experience a total rejuvenation.

The treatment takes place on a mattress on the floor, allowing the therapist to use both hands and feet to optimally perform the oil massage and stretches. A small amount of oil is mixed with a scrub powder called Calamus. This is an Ayurvedic herbal remedy that improves circulation, thereby stimulating the skin and removing toxins from the body.

A massage usually lasts 75 minutes and is tailored to individual needs.
The treatment brings you a sense of openness and well-being on a physical, mental and emotional level.
Afterwards you have the feeling that you have had a massage plus a yoga class.

In addition to massage, Mialma also offers weekly Yin Yoga and Hatha Yoga classes.

Yin Yoga:
Relaxing, feeling, being (conscious) and breathing are some of the properties that you explore in yin yoga. This will get you out of your head and into your body.
They are simple poses that you hold for a long time.
By consciously relaxing, your deep tissues are given the chance to open and loosen to their rhythm.

Hatha Yoga:
Hatha Yoga is the most ancient form of yoga specifically designed to promote general health and bring you to a state of well-being physically, emotionally and mentally.
