About me:

My name is Vivek Khanna LLB LLM Barrister at Law (Lincoln’s Inn). With 16 years’ experience working in the legal profession and in 2007 I was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn. I have an Honours Law Degree as well as a distinction in a Masters of Law Degree. In my year of study, I achieved the highest grade exceeding an 80% average.

I was offered a half scholarship from Southampton University to read for a PhD Degree in Law. I was awarded a bursary by the Chartered Institute of Taxation. In addition, I continued to teach Land Law at Southampton University aided by getting a Graduate Teaching Assistantship.

I have taught at the Middlesex College of Law where I taught land law, the law of evidence and Legal Study Skills for the External London LLB Degree programme. I have been a lecturer at Holborn College where I was the module leader in Land law and a tutor in EU law, Contract law, Equity & Trusts and English Legal system.

I was appointed as a lecturer at Westminster University, where I was the module leader and principle lecturer in Tax Law. I was appointed as a tutor in the subjects of Land law, European law, Contract law and Legal Skills and Processes 2.

In 2009, I started Private Law Tutor and my career as a freelance private law tutor after I left Westminster University.

In 2015 I worked for BARBRI International as a programmes Facilitator for the New York Bar course.

I am also the author of the Private Law Tutor Apps. My App is a fully-fledged source of basic information, which tries to give students a comprehensive understanding for their modules. The App for your convenience provides you with examples of how to answer advisory scenario questions and how to apply your knowledge as effectively as possible to help you get the best possible marks. The Apps are available on Apple Store and Google Play in the following subjects: Tort Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Equity and Trusts.
