We are based in the North West and situated where the A494 meets the A55 to the west of Chester, we are within easy travelling distance to North Wales, the Midlands and beyond, with good national motorway links making us easy to visit.

Our Methods

Our premises have full workshop facilities utilising the latest computer-driven sawing and profiling machinery and operates CNC (Computer Numeric Control) / AutoCAD drawing and cutting equipment enabling us to handle and process quarry blocks weighing up to 10 tonnes.

At Wm. Taylor Masonry Contractors, we consider various criteria before advising and recommending the best quality stone for each specific project and therefore our stone is sourced not just from the UK but worldwide to ensure a comprehensive choice is provided.

Stone Masonry
Masonry-trained banker masons employ their skills and techniques as they check, carve and finish all stonework to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality end product.
This ethos is carried forward to our on-site fixing teams where we are able to work to the highest standard and specification on buildings and structures as diverse as a lighthouse to a monastery, all of which are treated with the same care and attention.
Stone Cleaning
Wm. Taylor Masonry Contractors are approved for use of both the Jos Vortex system and Doff high temperature steam system, both of which are chemical free and either of which can be used on contracts where conservation is a priority.
The traditional method of mason dressing can also be used to achieve the removal of paint from stonework.
