Gibsons Farm Shop

General information

Located in the beautiful Kent Countryside just outside of Wingham, Gibson’s Farm Shop offers a full range of high quality fruit and vegetables, salads and herbs and is a fantastic platform to demonstrate not only our own farm produce but also just as importantly the produce of the local area.

The shop started in 1970 ago as a humble shed supplying locals with their daily needs. In 2010 the Gibson Family decided to build the shop you see today to meet the growing demand for high quality fresh produce.

Gibson’s Farm Shop is a family run business, Jeff and Andrew are the 6th generation of Gibson’s to farm.
The Gibson family love farming life, the countryside and appreciate the importance of the rural economy.

At Gibsons Farm Shop we aim to meet the increasing demand for home produced meat products and a large range of locally produced goods.

The following gives you an idea of whats available in store; however it is by no means exhaustive.

Meat/Butchery Counter
The butchery and processing of meats is performed in store by our master butcher. By request this can be to customer requirements with meat being prepared in front of the customer.

Free Range Angus Aberdeen Beef, Pork and Lamb
Home Cured Ham and Bacon
BBQ Meat Packs
Gibsons Sausages and sausage meat just have to be tried – Yummy ! Our sausages have extremely high meat content and we only use natural casings.

Fruit and Vegetables
We have a large range of fruit and vegetables grown on our farms at Crockshard and Chillenden. We also source a large range from local suppliers keeping food miles to a minimum.

Our home grown seasonal specialties include; purple sprouting, squashes and pumpkins during Autumn/Winter and new potatoes, asparagus, runner beans, french beans, cherries, strawberries and sweetcorn in the Spring/Summer to name but a few.

Delicatessen
Come and take a look at all our deli which stocks a delicious range of cheeses and olives etc.

From Free Range Hens – Woodlands Poultry Farm, Canterbury

Bread/Cakes
Freshly baked bread delivered on a daily basis.

A range of juices from Moors.

Extra Virgin Kentish Pressed Oils, Quex Foods, Birchington

We also stock a lovely range of cards and gifts from the Gisela Graham range.

Our Florist is fully stocked with fresh flowers form Convent Garden and our florists will be delighted to help you with any requirements you have. We have a great range of bouquets ready for you to buy and take immediately.

Our Farmhouse Cafe focuses on using the food from our farms and the local area in all dishes created. We try to use seasonal fresh produce directly from the field to the table.
We offer a cooked Breakfast everyday using Gibsons sausages and bacon. We are very proud of our meat pies packed with Gibsons meat.
