K.Gallery situated on Ventúrska street in the old town of Bratislava offers a special programme: permanent exhibition of Bořek Šípek´s work. There is no doubt about the originality of this world – famous architect and designer who became well-known thanks to reputable design companies first, and than later on was rediscovered on Prague in 90´s where he was working as a personal architect for president Václav Havel. Now you have an opportunity to get now his work in Bratislava. Bořek Šípek brings a poetic view over the world defying mass and serial productions. Every one must be impressed by his fabulous variations. Hand-made vases, bowls, glasses, lamps with poetic names and decorated in a very spectacular way, are made in limited series and exported all over the world. Many celebrities own pieces of his glass work: Juan Carlos King of Spain, Hillary Clinton, Karl Lagerfeld, Philippe Starck, prince Charles, princess Caroline….etc.
The back of K.Gallery is devoted to monthly presentation of young Slovak designers. More than 70 Slovak artists have been successfully presented there and admired by native and foreign visitors. Thanks to the great varicosity of exhibitions K.Gallery offers different sorts of applied art: glass, porcelain, furniture, jewellery, clothing…
