L’Atlètic és un club esportiu que es va fundar l’1 d’agost de 1952 per un grup de setze joves que volien jugar junts a hockey. El club ha canviat molt des de llavors i actualment compta amb nombroses seccions poliesportives: pàdel, tennis, natació, trial en bicicleta, golf, btt i excursionisme, entre molts altres serveis i instal·lacions. Totes elles estan situades al parc esportiu de Can Salas, al Km 20.300 de la carretera de Castellar (Terrassa).
